Dr Tony Mahfouz

Born and raised in the Illawarra region, Tony studied and trained as a dental technician for many years prior to completing studies as a Dental Prosthetist. Since graduating, Tony has worked in his own clinic located in the Illawarra creating smiles for his ever growing list of patients.



Tony's clinical and technical skills as a Dental Technician and Dental Prosthetist, led him to being awarded an Educational Scholarship by the NSW Dental Technicians Registration Board, graduating with the highest ranking in his class. In addition to his awards list, Tony has also received the prestigious 'Phil Harris Memorial Prize' by the Australian Dental Prosthetists Association (ADPA).

His continued further education has also allowed him in being a dental prosthetist who is also qualified to construct and administer implant-retained dentures.

Tony's skills and education do not end in the dental field. He is a hobbyist tradesman, having completed a Diploma in Building and Construction, On top of his construction qualifications, he also a self confessed 'Computer Geek' having completed his computing studies at the University of Wollongong.

 

Problem solving is one of Tony's many talents, and he strongly believes that his expertise and experiences in other industries are able to be applied into the dental field in order to give his patients the best possible outcome.
