Dental Implants Illawarra was established with the patient in mind. Our aim is to cater for the dental implant needs of the Illawarra by giving our patients a comfortable, affordable, and friendly dental implant restoration experience, being either a single tooth implant, to a full mouth restoration.

Work directly with the practitioner who is constructing your smile.
Tony, our Dental Prosthetist, is also the Dental Technician who constructs the teeth. This added benefit means that he will work in collaboration with you to achieve the appearance you are after. Most implant restorations are sent off-site to dental technicians who only have models to work on. Little information is given to them, therefore the prosthesis upon return may not be to the patients liking.
The ability to see you face-to-face ensures that the right shape, size and colour of teeth are chosen to match your facial features. This in turn, results in a natural and attractive outcome for you and your smile.
The ability to try in your new smile during construction gives you the chance to alter any aspect of the prosthesis. Some examples of alterations you may wish to have include:

The additional extra of having a dental laboratory on hand gives you assurance that your prosthesis are created onsite, and no work is sent overseas for any aspect if the restoration
All material used in the construction of your prosthesis is TGA approved, and created to a high standard. The material we use are from industry leading brands such as Vertex, Ivoclar Vivadent, Vita just to name a few.
Our dentist and dental technicians work closely together, minimising the risk of any errors or delays in the fabrication of your prosthesis and ensuring that all aspects meet the highest possible standards and suitability.
No work is sent overseas for any aspect of the restoration.
There is currently no requirements in Australia for dental professionals to inform their patients where their dental restorations are manufactured. You can rest easy knowing that all work at Dental Implants Illawarra are created in Australia.
Many overseas labs are unregulated, therefore their sterilisation and infection procedures may not meet our high standards in Australia. The quality of the material used in overseas laboratories are unknown and may not meet TGA standards.

We have many animated videos on hand for all steps involved, from surgery to the construction of your dental prosthesis. Our videos will help explain why and how we do things.
You can watch as many videos on how implants and your restoration works, but our working dental models take your experience and knowledge up to the next level, Our custom made dental models allow you to see and feel the quality material which will be used in your dental prosthesis, as well as give you more knowledge on why we recommend certain implants and restorations over what other people are doing.
